Since he can shoot sound waves and kinda control them I just thought: "why can't he fly." So he can fly now. Sonic wave things shoot outta his feet

He's actually my favorite alien, so I may have made him a bit op with the flight ability. Anyways, it was kinda hard to design him because he's.. kind of naked in the original series, so I took some inspiration from The Ink Tank's design for sonorosians. (Check out their channel, especially their "And Beyond" series! It's really cool!)
Basically, now he's a living radio. That can fly. Such a cool alien

So. Comic about the fact Chroma died twice in the show. Personally I think they had that happen to show that even tho he's p much indestructible, he still has weaknesses.
In the comic, the aliens are sentient in the watch. Dying twice messes you up man.
The relationship here is platonic, or that of siblings but like. Rarity and Sweetie Belle. Or Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo.

Unpopular Ben 10 Opinions (Warning: Very Unpopular)
- UAF!Ben was boring. He had no personality besides being mature, and then the writers gave him back his old flaws to make him more interesting it failed
- UAF!Gwen was also pretty boring. She had no temper or quirks to play off of Ben anymore and she acted like a mom more than a teenager
- The humor in UAF was painfully average and nowhere near the levels of genuine hilarity like the OS and OV
- Both Maltruant and Aggregor are Villain Stues.
- Ma Vreedle is a Creator's Pet. Never got any actual comeuppance, somehow treated as a bigger threat than Vilgax, oh and she made him cry. Vilgax had to be made OOC just to make this alien redneck look like a competent villain
- The Vreedle brothers should have remained good
- I'm annoyed with the fact that Kevin was the only villain to get a completed redemption arc
- Turning Will Harangue into an alien was a pretty shitty move. Now I don't like the guy at all, but altering someone's DNA permanently just to prove a point is just fucking awful. Remember the DNAliens? That's exactly what they tried to do in AF, and they were the Nazi allegory.
- There should have been a team called the Substitute Plumbers (consisting of minor characters)
- There should have been a new version of the Negative 10, and not just with old members but with new characters
- OV!Sunny's design is one of the most laziest in the series
- Green Lantern was the wrong choice for Ben's opponent in Death Battle.
- AF should have stuck with the original idea of Ben and Gwen training the next generation of heroes.
- There should have been focus episodes of other characters
- There was a missed opportunity to add Gwen's brother as the normal one of the team
- Cooper should have been the one to cure Elena. Think about it, he has technokinesis, it was a perfect opportunity to give him more development as well as a way to show how she got cured
- Speaking of Elena, I feel that her sudden Yandere was both OOC and done solely to make Julie look better in comparison
- Julie was bland. Even her mechamorph had more personality than her. But she was leagues above Kai
- I regard the OS (Ken 10) future as different from the OV future
- Herve gets too much hate
- Alan Albright would have made a good main character
- I ship Clyde Five and Nyancy Chan because of an idea I had for my Jo/Ben fanfiction
- OV!Ben should not have been dumbed down to make Rook more competent
- Yes, my OC would make a better romantic partner than Kai

- When I read that Derrick J Wyatt wanted to do a Blukic and Driba spin-off, I cringed and nearly barfed because those two were obnoxiously annoying
- There's nothing wrong with Ben 10k being muscular. Nobody got on Goku's case when he got buff. I've been seeing a lot of backlash over 10k's muscles lately, saying that it doesn't fit an Adult!Ben. Leave 10k alone! He's hot and sexy okay? Honestly I'm tired of grown-up characters looking and acting exactly the same as their younger selves. Just let me fantasize w/o shame!
- Ben 10 on DeviantArt is more of a cesspool than Sonic fanart. I'm sick of having to go through someone's old Gwen child porn just to find good and creative fanart that doesn't involve sex or a weird fetish
- Humungosaur was lame
- Four Arms should have been the one to die by Malware's hands since he was canonically Ben's favorite; would have left way more impact
- The Ultimate Kevin arc was terrible
- I never liked the idea of Ben having a harem
- I'm indifferent to Omniboyfriends (Ben x Rook)
- The Tumblr side is way more mature than the Forum side of the fanbase
- Rook should have been the one to get Excalibur
- Even though I'm a die-hard fan, I can barely remember Ben's aliens through memory

- Vilgax should have been OV's endgamd villain, not that overgrown Easybake Oven

- Transformers Animated takes place in the same future as OV!10k due to having the same creators
- There should have been a couple of episodes exploring Ben's school life

- Ben looks good in red. He wears too much green
- The Andromeda Five needed more screentime
- Animo was one of the better villains and funny too
- The coolest or prettiest alien designs imo are: XLR8, Benwolf, Ultimate Echo Echo (think that's his name), Swampfire, Cannonbolt, Pesky Dust, Big Chill, Feedback, Waybig, and Xylene
- Xylene should have been a recurring mentor character; she was one of the most wasted characters on the whole show
- The OV!Saturdays are fine. Though I wish they'd kept Mrs. Saturday's hairstyle
- Julie's OV design is ugly because she looked like an Asian caricature. All they needed to add was a cone hat. ð
- On the other side I liked Elena's OV design because they didn't whitewash her like UAF and retained her cool designs aesthetic than generic science lady
- Pierce's death should have been handled better
- I would have loved to see more magical and mutant characters for world-building purposes
- If I'm gonna be honest here: who actually ships BenKai? ðĪŠ

Hi, please bear with me while I get this off my chest. I'm mostly stumbling over my words as I think of what to say.
Thank you, love you all!
Now, when I say that I love Ben 10, I really mean that I LOVE Ben 10.
Complain all you want about Alien Force/Ultimate Alien being too dark and gritty, Omniverse having an ugly artstyle, or the reboot "ruining" the series (which it isn't), I love each and every one of the series and will protect them all with my life. (āļ •̀_•́)āļ
I do have my own criticisms, but I don't feel like getting into all that right now.
Returning to my roots in Ben 10 has truly been an experience. It has brought me back so much nostalgia and memories of my earlier years on deviantART.
The classic series was what made me join dA in 2008; Alien Force was just starting out (it aired on my birthday ðĨ° lkahsf) and I was drawing the aliens almost nonstop. My first deviation, if you dare to venture that far back in my gallery, is of Echo-Echo.
My art has only improved since then, thank Arceus. ð
This love followed me all the way to college! If you look at my toy collection, you will see it's practically all Ben 10 figurines. I'm certain my very first was a large Swampfire figure that shot colored goo from his hands.
I'm still collecting any that I see and want!
And now that I've rewatched the entire franchise, I can feel my creativity and urge to draw returning little by little. I was hoping to get this from Coco and Big Hero 6, but I felt myself lacking.
I suppose it was because I wasn't exactly used to drawing skeletons, especially culturally important ones and felt intimidated by the cool armor designs and technological aspect that I didn't quite understand enough. Something like that.
I was okay with humans and robots (Monsters vs. Aliens and Robotboy allowed me to draw a lot of those) but skeletons was a whole different ballpark. I struggled enough with drawing humans (skeleton hands were actually more fun to draw, though xD). As for Big Hero 6, I actually didn't have any ideas. That pic of GoGo and Baymax was the first fanart I've done for it. ¯\_(ã)_/¯
I had trouble with trying to get my ideas down; I would try, sure, but I was never quite happy and it hurt because I wanted to draw my favorite characters to show my love to the fandoms. I was happy to be in them and talk to/meet new friends, as I was with MvA and Robotboy, but I couldn't produce art as much as I would have liked for them and it just put me into a funk.
Dude, That's My Ghost! and Robotboy helped me out for awhile, but once my hyperfixation shifted into Coco, I felt like I was immediately drained of creativity.
It's why I switched to doing fanfics about it, instead. Writing was somewhat easier. That and making random analysis posts, gifs, and taking screencaps to share. Ditto with BH6. At least I was contributing in some way and I did enjoy making those posts and seeing people discuss over them!
I do the same with Ben 10 but I can actually draw for it like I used to! I just have a lot more fun drawing the aliens and other characters. There's a lot of aliens and each-well, most-of their designs are just fantastic and I itch to draw my favorites, again.
I also really want to redraw my first OCs that was born from it!
(you can be mad at me for abusing what I think was the burn tool aldkshf. Past me was an idjit who didn't know how to shade properly :P)
They're in serious need of redesign for Omniverse (in my style though) and I've gotten a few ideas for them! Not only that, but, with the case of my "Alien Dads" idea, people are actually wanting to draw and write about them???? And I haven't drawn them, myself yet????

Everyone who has OCs can relate!!! It's showing that other people besides yourself actually care about your babies! I had the same thing happen when I drew Jade, Aqua, and Split! Heck, someone even adopted Split and incorporated her into his own story!
I can't wait to draw the Alien Dads and share them! You have no idea how bad I want to give Ro more alien uncles other than Nik. xDDD
Talking with the same friends has allowed me to come up with some cute design ideas!!! I also want to redesign my Ben 10 persona and update my profile pic.
I especially would love to draw a lot more of my phantom ice-moth husband! :D

This is one of the strangest playlists I've ever put together. I mean generally I try to make playlists have a general level of coherence? Or even if the genres and styles aren't the same for the tracks to have a sense of progression? like one genre, or one theme moving into another.
I guess....if I had to articulate my thought process here, songs 1-4 are the awareness of being violent and ruthless, songs 5-9 are being afraid of themselves, of what they've become, and what they'll turn into, and what others think of them. 10-12 are sort of accepting what they've become, though 12 is a bit nostalgic for what they used to be. 13 is like, the climax, we'll say the leadup to Rachel's death. 14-15 is the aftermath, so just like pain, and 16 is a bonus song that's about jake and rachel's relationship.
This mix is just all over everywhere. And then there are some songs that probably only fit with Rachel and Jake in my head and make little sense to anyone else? So feel free to hit me up in my inbox for like...explanations.
Actually I'll do some for the three strangest additions.
If someone tells you they understand what Wash. by Bon Iver is about, don't believe them. I have no idea what the lyrics mean, at all. And yet? Listening to it I was like, you know what, this gives me Berenson vibes. And there are a few of the absolutely nonsensical lyrics that I can pickout and be like, yeah that's Jake and Rachel.
"Climb is all we know when thaw is not below us no, can't grow up in that iron ground"
arguably the most coherent line in the entire song, and I still don't understand it. whatever, it reminds me of Jake and Rachel. the idea of moving forward being the only option, you can't go back to what you were, can't get back to your roots because the ground is hardened by ice or iron.
"home we're savage high come we finally cry oh and we don it because it's right Claire, I was too sore for sight"
also highly insensible, but there's a sense of difficult decisions and weariness in this line that reminds me of them, Jake in particular.
Next is Palace by The Antlers. Most of the songs in this mix are just songs that I feel apply to Jake and Rachel. This song is specifically a song that's from Jake and Rachel to each other.
"You were simpler, you were lighter when we thought like little kids. Like a weightless, hate-less animal, beautifully oblivious before you were hid inside a stranger you grew into, as you learned to disconnect."
Too Much is Never Enough by Florence & the Machine is a song I considered putting on my other animorphs playlist, but it's more of a glory of war and sacrifice then a trauma of war and sacrifice song, so I didn't. But it has so many key lines that just work with animorphs. The reason I put it in this one is because I feel like the lyrics have a really nice split between lines that fit Jake and lines that fit Rachel.
"And the crown, it weighs heavy 'Til it's banging on my eyelids" - perfect for Jake.
"One thing's for certain, oh A year like this passes so strangely Somewhere between sorrow and bliss" -really good for Rachel, and the way she grows to enjoy the war.
"I couldn't say "I need more time" Oh, grant that I can stay the night Or one more day inside this life" - works really well for Rachel, but also Jake, and how he probably needed more time before he had to make the kinds of decisions foisted on him.
Additionally, the echo chorus of "a hundred flags flying in a field One day, felt it let go of me" just reminds me of the whole cost of the war, the bodies that both Jake and Rachel are responsible for, the war guilt in general
Okay, I doubt anyone's still reading, but the bonus song is also a little weird. It's like Palace in that it's from Jake to Rachel. It's basically the only song in the mix that's about their relationship specifically. It's Nightclothes by Radical Face, which is a song about a brother reminiscing on his relationship with his sister when they were children. the relationship in the song is a lot of the older sister pulling the younger brother along, which is the dynamic I sort of imagine Jake and Rachel having when they were kids? because rachel was so outgoing and jake was so average. it's a really weird addition to the mix, but the last verse of the song in particular is so perfect for Jake and Rachel.
